Race, Explore, and Push Your Boat
The core gameplay is all about controlling your speedboat through water-based courses while staying on the right line. Instead of simply following a flat racing route, you may need to handle jumps, turns, and changing sections of the course while keeping your boat under control. Free driving gives you a more relaxed option when you do not feel like racing. You can explore the available maps, get familiar with the environment, and practice your boat handling without the pressure of finishing first. Career mode adds a longer progression path through different chapters. With two-player mode, you can grab a friend, choose your boats, and see who can handle the course and boost timing better.
Tips for Faster Water Runs
- Save nitrous for long straights or important overtaking moments
- Slow down slightly before sharp turns to avoid losing control
- Learn each course before trying to set your fastest time
- Use free driving to practice difficult sections
- Avoid wasting nitrous immediately after a corner
- Switch the camera view if your current angle makes a section harder to read
- In two-player races, focus on clean driving instead of reacting too aggressively to your opponent
